The Life Celebration

of

Natalie Bonita Cooper

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…”

2 Timothy 4:7

Ms. Natalie B. Cooper, affectionately known as Neet, was born March 5, 1964 in Sumter, South Carolina to Geraldine and the late Nathaniel Cooper.  Natalie, one of God’s servants, peacefully completed her journey on earth and took residence in her new and eternal home Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

Natalie was a 1982 graduate of Mayewood High School in Sumter, South Carolina.  She continued her educational aspirations and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Morris College as well as her Master of Business Administration degree from Argosy University.

At an early age, Natalie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and served as a member Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.  She was an active member in several church activities including Women on the Front Line.  Natalie was a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness and participated in a host of activities and functions to support this cause in the Charlotte area.

Natalie was a kind, loving and caring person.  She had a heart for people and was always ready and willing to help anyone in any way she could, especially her family.  She loved her family and every moment she spent with them.

Natalie was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Ida Mae and Daniel Keels, and grandparents Elizabeth and Samuel Britton.

Her rich legacy of uplifting, caring and sharing will forever dwell in the hearts of those who survive her:  her loving daughter Lakeisha Johnson (Bradford); her mother, Geraldine Cooper; her five siblings, Zelda Cooper, Wayne Cooper (Yuko), Kelvin Cooper (Nicole), Adrienne Smith, and Karen Wrighten (William); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
